BioePay is a pay-by-bank payment experience operated by BioeFunds LLC (“BioePay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to bioepay.com and to the BioePay payment experience offered through participating retailers’ apps and loyalty programs.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you enroll in or use BioePay, contact us, or fill out a form on this site, you may provide your name, email address, mobile number, and information related to enrolling your bank account for payment.

Bank account and verification information. To enroll you and authorize payments, BioePay verifies your bank account through our payment-processing infrastructure and the financial institutions and verification networks it connects to. We do not hold or transmit your funds; BioePay operates the verification, the authorization, and the recordkeeping around a payment that moves directly between your bank and the retailer.

Merchant information. Merchants who enroll with BioePay provide business contact and account information, which we handle under the same terms as the personal information described in this policy.

Information collected automatically. When you visit bioepay.com or use the BioePay experience inside a retailer’s app, we automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, through standard web and app logging and analytics tools.

Text messaging information. Described in full under “Text Messaging” below.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Enroll you in BioePay and verify your bank account
Authorize and process payments you initiate
Send you the account and payment notifications you’ve asked for
Respond to your inquiries and provide support
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and unauthorized activity
Maintain records required by our regulatory and network obligations
Operate, maintain, and improve bioepay.com and the BioePay experience

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate BioePay:

With the retailer where you enrolled, so your payment can be authorized and reflected in your loyalty account
With financial institutions and payment-verification networks, to verify your bank account and process your payment
With service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, fraud prevention, and customer support, under obligations to protect your information
When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or regulatory request
In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to confidentiality protections

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The foregoing excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent: this information is not shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for any purpose, including their own marketing.

Text Messaging

When you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages from BioePay, we collect and process:

The mobile number you provide
A record of your consent, including the date, time, and the page or form on which it was given
Message delivery and interaction data, including delivery status and your replies to our messages

We use this information solely to send you the account and payment notifications you asked for, to respond to your replies, to honor opt-out requests, and to maintain records demonstrating your consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-message consent with any third party for their marketing purposes.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to us.

Children’s Privacy

BioePay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-Party Links

bioepay.com and the BioePay experience may link to third-party sites, including retailer apps and websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.
